Background
The owner was de-stressed, and the business was costing large sums of money. There was a matter of urgency to resolve the issues quickly to remove the financial stress on the owner which was mounting as time went on. I knew the owner and understood their circumstances needed a quick resolution, solving this issue gave me great satisfaction.
Our approach
We attacked the problem head on working with the owner and team to get a full understanding of the business, what where its strengths and weaknesses and how we could position the business in a positive light. We worked with the owners promptly and consistently with a free flow of information and offers.
Solution
To achieve success, we marketed the business to existing operators, our data base of buyers and sent out feelers to new buyers. Enquiry came from all areas, mainly experienced operators in the local vicinity, interstate and one from New Zealand. The buyer came from new enquiry, they could see potential growth in the demographics of the area and upgrading the fit-out would reinvigorate the business.
Result
The owner was extremely relieved and welcomed the result, alleviating the stress of losses and dead rent. The process went smoothly and timely with all parties relieved with the result.
